Position: Truck driver, ready-mix
No of Vacancies: 3
Salary: $24.00 to $28.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 36 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Dowling, ON
Shifts: Weekend, Early Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Documentation knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip)
Type of trucking and equipment: Concrete mixing, and dump truck
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat, steel-toed safety boots, safety vest, and gloves
Credentials: DZ class license, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be willing to work overtime as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules and exhibit reliability in fulfilling their duties
- The candidates should be hardworking, showing dedication and diligence in their work, and possess patience in dealing with challenging situations
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
