Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Area of specialization: Truck-trailer repair
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
- The candidate should have very good hand-eye co-ordination.
- The candidate should perform manual dexterity tasks.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate and client focused.
- The candidate should be reliable and dependable.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be required to adjust, repair, or replace commercial transport truck system and truck-trailer system parts and components.
- The candidate should be expected to inspect and test mechanical units in order to identify faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate should test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications’.
- The candidate should estimate the costs of parts and labour and Perform scheduled maintenance service.
- The candidate should complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- The candidate should provide excellent customer service and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
