Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should 1 year of experience in working with clients and achieving sales results. Prior banking experience in a similar capacity is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance
  • The candidates should be able to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced Banking Centre where they’ll make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives
  • The candidates should be able to proactively engage with clients and leverage CIBC’s best-in-class mobile and online banking options as a Financial Services Representative Universal Banker. They will recommend the right products and solutions that will contribute to the clients’ financial success
  • The candidates should be able to meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan. They should use their knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals
  • The candidates should be able to engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients they value them and their communities. They should grow their network, deepen existing relationships, and work as one team to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities
  • The candidates should become technology experts and share their knowledge by introducing clients to our mobile banking applications, helping them better manage their banking needs
