Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, and Own vehicle
Work setting: Rural area
Type of crops: Asparagus, Bell peppers, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cucumbers, Garlic, Melons, Onions, Sweet corn, Tomatoes, and Zucchinis
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for outdoor work environments in fruit and vegetable combination farming roles
- The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks in their role and capable of handling heavy loads as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and comfortable with tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops and greenhouses, hand harvest vegetables, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to weed fields, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
