Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a grade 10 or Secondary 4
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kilograms (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be available to work for a minimum of 3 hours between the hours of 6:00 am to noon
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- The candidates should possess strong listening skills and basic math skills
- The candidates should exhibit attention to detail, punctuality, and a professional demeanor
- The candidates should have the ability to cooperate with others and follow direction well
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist in preparing offices for a volume count
- The candidates should be able to count letter mail and oversized mail in letter carrier cases on a block basis and record the total
- The candidates should be able to complete Letter Carrier Route sampling forms, obtaining the information from letter carriers
- The candidates should be able to weigh mail for letter carrier delivery
- The candidates should be able to assist with analysis, using a calculator
