Height of Land Hotel Inc. based in Churchill Falls, NL is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Waiter/waitress. Height of Land Hotel Inc. is the ideal place to stay for those travelling the Trans-Labrador Highway and business professionals, alike. Our hotel is equipped with spacious dual double bedrooms, wireless internet, a conference room, a large parking lot, and a restaurant open each and every day to cater entirely to our customers dining needs. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $13.70 to $15.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers
• The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
