Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of standing for extended periods as required, and adept at working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction and exhibit efficient interpersonal skills in team settings
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and show flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
- The candidates should be highly organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and be reliable in fulfilling their duties and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to train staff, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service
