Ginger Beef Bistro House serves traditional Chinese cuisine with a modern twist in Calgary. We opened our doors in the mid-1980s and have been serving the people of Calgary with authentic Chinese delicacies. Our full-service, sit-down Chinese food restaurants are perfect for sharing a hot meal with family and friends. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible, organized, and reliable
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, provide customer service
