Cattlemen’s Chophouse is a premier dining destination renowned for its exceptional steakhouse experience. Specializing in prime cuts of Alberta beef, Cattlemen’s Chophouse offers a delectable menu featuring a variety of hand-selected steaks, grilled to perfection and served with savory accompaniments. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is not available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Food and Beverage Server Training, Safe Food Handling certificate, ProServe program, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, and stand for extended periods as required by the job
  • The candidates should be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and requirements, show initiative in identifying and addressing tasks and challenges, and maintain organization in their work methods and responsibilities
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills to customers, and accept payment in various forms
  • The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, and describe and advise on wine selection
  • The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, and serve food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and supervise other servers and bussing staff
  • The candidates should be able to take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
