Salary: $16.75 hourly for 7 to 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Restaurant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, and Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments and noisy surroundings
- The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of standing for extended periods, working effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client satisfaction, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and work well in a team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills to customers, and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and train staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
