Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Concord, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Wholesale establishment/store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, Pallet lifters
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding and a repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty area and at heights
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain office, supply area or warehouse, issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
- The candidates should be able to maintain records on inventory control system, prepare and track work orders
- The candidates should be able to process incoming requisitions, receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
- The candidates should be able to ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment
- The candidates should be able to store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area
