Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in a warehouse environment, including stocking shelves and order filling
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be physically fit and able to lift 25 lbs, possess good computer skills and possess data entry skills
- The candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team and the ability to multitask
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have knowledge of the hog industry and biosecurity requirements and experience operating a forklift, skid steer, and warehouse machinery, or be willing
- The candidate should possess a valid Class 5F license and provide a favorable driver’s abstract
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform clerical tasks and data entry as assigned, with training provided
- The candidate should be able to physically unload, receive, and inspect all incoming materials, handle materials using a forklift or skid steer
- The candidate should be able to stock shelves in the warehouse and cooler, ensuring products are stored in the manufacturer’s recommended environment
- The candidate should be able to pick and pack orders, ensure products are stored and shipped in the right order of rotation
- The candidate should be able to perform product counts for monthly and annual inventories, communicate in writing and verbally with other teams
- The candidate should be able to transact orders in SAP, with training provided, organize and control bulk product in the external warehouse
