Salary: $20.00 hourly 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 11628 8 street, Dawson Creek, BC V1G 4R7
Shifts: Evening, Shift, Morning
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, Warehouse

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software, MS Excel
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, dependable, organized, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • The candidates should be able to maintain internal record-keeping system
  • The candidates should be able to record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • The candidates should be able to unpack goods received, unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
  • The candidates should be able to affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • The candidates should be able to oversee loading and unloading of goods, provide customer service, record incoming stock
