Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a college
Experience: Candidates should have two years of relevant experience in the banking (“back office”), insurance, and financial industry

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
  • The candidate should have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, possess excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to support investment advisors in delivering superior customer service and be available to meet client requests
  • The candidate should be able to carry out routine operations related to financial transactions, including purchases and sales of securities and necessary transaction adjustments
  • The candidate should be able to process deposit, withdrawal, transfer, and currency conversion instructions for all investment accounts and ensure diligent follow-up
  • The candidate should be able to analyze, open, and update client files accurately, produce portfolio management reports
  • The candidate should be able to manage the administrative aspects of client files, including managing agendas, scheduling appointments, and preparing for client meetings
  • The candidate should be able to ensure strict adherence to compliance and risk management rules
