Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and efficiently handle repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of the role and possess manual dexterity for precise and controlled tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, exhibit hand-eye coordination in their tasks, and be comfortable with tasks that involve sitting for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, confined spaces, and dusty area
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and read various documents, including blueprints, drawings, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machines
- The candidates should be able to examine welds for compliance with standards, determine materials’ weldability, and perform tasks such as fitting, brazing, torch-straightening, and using previously set-up machines for fabrication or repair
