Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: TIG, MIG, and ARC
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy environments and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility in their approach
- The candidates should be organized in their work and function well as a team player
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and be hardworking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment and previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
- The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production line and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
