Work setting: Willing to relocate, manufacture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Custom fabrication, factory assembly, cast iron and other metals, fencing, balconies, stairs, and railings
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, face shield, welding helmet
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be aware that the work environment may be noisy and should be able to work effectively in such conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable with performing repetitive tasks as part of their duties, be prepared for physically demanding tasks, and demonstrate manual dexterity in their work activities
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as required for the job, exhibit attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality, and possess hand-eye coordination skills to perform tasks effectively
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods during their work shifts, handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of their job requirements, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary for the role
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs) as needed for the position

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications accurately and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment proficiently to produce high-quality welds
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes effectively to understand project requirements, examine welds, and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications through visual inspection and testing
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment efficiently to cut metal according to project needs, operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines accurately to fabricate metal components, and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal as per project requirements
- The candidates should be able to operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) proficiently for metal cutting applications, determine the weldability of materials, and select appropriate welding techniques accordingly, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and effectively to handle materials and components
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products efficiently, operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal accurately, and start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure efficient operation
- The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure continuous functionality and safety
