Salary: $34.00 hourly 30 hours per week

Location: 602-12 Ave SW Calgary, AB T2R 1J3
Shifts: Day, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Welding techniques: Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), and brazing and soldering
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be hardworking
- The candidates should demonstrate resourcefulness
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications accurately and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment proficiently to complete welding tasks effectively
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes thoroughly and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment skillfully to cut metal pieces as per project specifications
- The candidates should be able to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines proficiently to shape metal components accurately according to project requirements
