Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications accurately and operate welding equipment proficiently to join metal components effectively
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to understand project requirements and operate flame-cutting equipment safely and efficiently to cut metal accurately
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products according to established procedures, as well as operate brazing or soldering machines skillfully to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal effectively
- The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure smooth and efficient operation, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtime
