Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Type of materials: Composite materials, stainless steel and steel, iron and heavy metals
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, manually dexter and also pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also work in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
- The candidate should have specializations on fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC), operate hoisting and lifting equipment and also operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidate should be able to interpret welding process specifications and also read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- The candidate should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications and also determine weldability of materials
- The candidate should be able to fit, braze and torch-straighten metal and also maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
