Twa Panel Systems Inc. based in Nisku, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Welder. Twa Panel Systems Inc. is manufacturer of three main types of radiant panels for heating and cooling, are the linear panel, the modular panel, and the security panel. The linear panel is the most popular as well as most versatile with an almost unlimited possibility for configurations when assembling our various assortments of extrusions. We offer a wide array of products to match almost any application or size of commercial project; from the very large Trans Canada Pipeline 38 story tower in Calgary to small renovation projects requiring just a few radiant panels. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly for 43 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Nisku, AB
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided.
Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
Equipment and machinery experience: Brazing machine, Gas welding machine
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Responsibilities:
- The candidate must be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).
- The candidate should determine weldability of materials, operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal, maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
