Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates needs an experience of 1-2 years
Type of Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals
Welding Techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
Gas welding machine
Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication, Structural construction, Ornamental work, Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Mask, Welding helmet
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail and work with hand-eye coordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have an excellent oral communication skills
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to interpret welding process specifications also operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidate should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes also operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
