Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty, hot, noisy, and dirty conditions
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications accurately and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment proficiently
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes effectively and examine welds meticulously to ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment skillfully and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal accurately
- The candidates should be able to determine the weldability of materials effectively and operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal proficiently
- The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines skillfully and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment diligently
