Salary: $26.00 to $38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Location: Brantford, ON
Shifts: Day
Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Brazing and soldering, Gas metal arc (GMAW) (MIG)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine, Soldering machine, Welding, Crimping, brazing, and soldering equipment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail in their work and be able to work independently on assigned tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a team player, capable of collaborating effectively with others, demonstrating punctuality in their attendance and tasks, and showing resourcefulness in solving problems and completing tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to examine welds and ensure they meet standards
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and determine the weldability of materials
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- The candidates should be able to fit and weld parts together, fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, and ensure adherence to safety regulations
