Job Description:

Salary: $16.60 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: 405 Fowler’s Road St. John’s, NL A1H 0B3
Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Own transportation

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Cutting machine, Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/goggles, Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  •  The candidates should perform repetitive tasks efficiently and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should handle heavy loads effectively and endure physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  •  The candidates should be able to clean the work area and monitor the machine during operation
  • The candidates should be able to affix seals or tags to approved products and load, feed, or place materials into the machine
  • The candidates should be able to operate the machine to fabricate parts and products, as well as screw, clip, glue, bond, weld, or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products
  • The candidates should be able to cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components
