Salary: $20.00 hourly 40 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Overtime, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Type of materials: Cotton or synthetic, Nylon, Polyester or synthetic, Textiles and leather, Satin, Silk, Velvet or pile fabrics
Area of specialization: Seamstress, Tailor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications
- The candidates should be able to fit, alter and repair garments as required
- The candidates should be able to operate sewing machines or sew by hand
- The candidates should be able to design patterns to fit measurements
- The candidates should be able to mark, cut and sew fabric
