Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, planting equipment, tillage equipment, and tractor

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and be willing to work outdoors
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and possess attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to clean crops, train fruit trees, and clean greenhouses
  • The candidates should be able to perform hand harvesting of vegetables, hoe crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • The candidates should be able to tie crops, perform weeding activities, and harvest crops
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
