Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean, grade, and harvest crops, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the process
- The candidates should be capable of maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in greenhouses to promote plant health and growth
- The candidates should be proficient in planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, following established procedures for optimal growth and yield
- The candidates should be skilled in operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, performing necessary maintenance and repairs
- The candidates should be responsible for implementing farm safety and biosecurity procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule
- The candidates should be able to develop work schedules, establish procedures, and allocate resources effectively to support farm operations
- The candidates should be involved in hiring and training staff, providing guidance and instruction on farm procedures and safety protocols
- The candidates should be versatile in performing various general farm duties as required to support overall farm operations
