Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in all weather conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty, noisy, and wet or damp environments and tolerate various associated odors
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including performing repetitive tasks efficiently and handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others, and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making and be reliable in fulfilling their duties
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, as well as perform weeding activities and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, providing agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, examine the product for quality and its readiness for the market, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
