Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead the development and implementation of government-wide workforce policies, programs, and initiatives under the general direction of the Manager, Policy Unit
- The candidates should be able to align these policies, programs, and initiatives with government priorities and objectives
- The candidates should be able to analyze workforce-related issues and trends, and provide recommendations to inform policy development and decision-making
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with internal stakeholders across government departments and agencies to gather input, assess needs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- The candidates should be able to conduct research, gather data, and utilize evidence-based practices to inform the development of workforce policies and initiatives
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including senior government officials, to present recommendations, provide updates, and garner support for workforce initiatives
- The candidates should be able to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies and programs, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes
- The candidates should be able to stay informed about relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in workforce management, and incorporate this knowledge into policy development and implementation efforts
