Position: Worm picker-packer
No of Vacancies: 15
Salary: $3,000 monthly for 30 to 40 hours per week (Minimum wage is guaranteed)
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Brussels, ON
Shifts: Day and Morning
Work Setting: Room and board provided, rural area and remote location
Work site environment: Candidates should work in wet or damp area
Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have gloves
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Thai and Lao
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Type of crops: Worms
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be someone who can be relied on
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to Pick row and orchard crops
