- The candidates should have skills related to Banking Operations, Business Development, Client Relationship Management, Community Connections, Customer Experience (CX), Financial Advising, Financial Services, People Management, Performance Monitoring, and Results-Oriented

- The candidates should be able to lead a team of high-performing financial services professionals working towards a shared goal – delivering an exceptional client experience
- The candidates should be able to hire, develop, and coach their team, inspiring them to perform at their best and and act like owners by helping clients and team members succeed, finding ways to fuel the right kind of revenue growth, and taking accountability for results
- The candidates should be able to make a difference by supporting new and existing clients as they secure their futures, own homes, and set up businesses and help deliver a great client experience and should be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance
- The candidates should be able to show their team how to deepen client relationships and meet client financial needs while providing a high standard of service and go above and beyond to advocate CIBC within the community to develop new and existing client relationships
- The candidates should be able to encourage employees to quickly resolve client complaints and escalate when necessary and create a culture of teamwork so clients are served by those best able to meet their financial needs
- The candidates should be able to monitor the Banking Centre’s business performance and put action plans into place to close any gaps and work as one team with all partners to maximize market opportunities and increase the Banking Centre’s overall performance
- The candidates should be able to manage and minimize risk to safeguard our bank, clients, and shareholders and lead and coach a high-performing team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives to deepen client relationships and deliver the right kind of growth
