Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a degree or diploma in Business Administration or Information Technology
Experience: Candidates should have experience utilizing financial and information management systems

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues, strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to effectively exchange information, independently manage time and tasks with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience providing front-line customer service in a technical IT support and financial administration environment
  • The candidates should have knowledge of financial and information management systems
  • The candidates should have knowledge of financial management policies and procedures, strong front-line customer service skills
  • The candidates should provide a recent and satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from their local police

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide front-line support to all stakeholders contacting the FMS Helpdesk, assisting with investigating and resolving functional issues, addressing general inquiries, and providing advice and guidance related to the financial and information systems
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and respond to communications received via various channels, gather detailed information regarding the inquiry/issue, and investigate the issue in the appropriate system(s)
  • The candidates should be able to determine the cause of the issue and provide the stakeholder with the appropriate resolution/response, engaging subject matter experts and technical resources
  • The candidates should be able to document all request details in the Helpdesk Ticketing System, monitor the progress of requests, and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • The candidates should be able to ensure tickets are properly updated/closed in the Helpdesk Ticketing System
  • The candidates should be able to draft and distribute mass communication emails to stakeholders, report recurring problems to management, and provide advice and recommendations for solutions, develop communication materials, job aids, and templates for issues encountered
  • The candidates should be able to assist in testing new functionality and/or upgrades and provide training and perform other related duties
