Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register
Own tools/equipment: Uniform

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should be capable of working in hot and noisy conditions

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong client focus and demonstrate excellent oral communication
• The candidates should be flexible, show initiative, and be reliable
• The candidates should also be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills, accept various forms of payment, and balance cash while recording sales
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, serve food and beverages, and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
