Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors if necessary and able to work in noisy environments if required

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children effectively and engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking them to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records accurately and guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits with patience and care
- The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties to ensure a safe and clean environment and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods efficiently
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors accurately and discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings effectively
- The candidates should have knowledge of licensing regulations to ensure compliance and quality standards and assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members sensitively
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children for holistic support and plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours thoughtfully
