Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as  a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have Experience in the administration and maintenance of accounting systems

  • The candidates should have attained or be in the process of attaining a professional accounting designation
  • The candidates should enjoy being part of a strong and dynamic team
  • The candidates should have ERP experience in Oracle and Longview Consolidation Tool
  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to improve processes and develop a robust framework to enable fast growth
  • The candidates should possess excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • The candidates should be problem solvers who excel in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should have excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and be a team player, and also be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • The candidates should have the ability to plan, assign, and evaluate job tasks
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • The candidates should have proven ability to build strong working relationships both internal and external to the organization

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with special projects as needed to support the capacity of all team members, demonstrating collaboration and flexibility in addressing various requests and providing timely input
  • The candidates should be able to conduct thorough research on accounting policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) standards, and prepare comprehensive position papers to ensure compliance and inform decision-making processes
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the design and testing of financial reports using Consolidation software, ensuring alignment with Senior Leadership and Divisional operational and financial reporting needs. They should also be adept at ensuring the software is regularly updated and addressing any software-related issues
  • The candidates should be able to efficiently manage the consolidated reporting of the Company’s long-lived assets, including accounting for capital assets and intangible assets, overseeing the maintenance of capital asset software data, preparing consolidation reporting, journal entries, and divisional reports
  • The candidates should be able to assist in preparing cash flows, operating budgets/forecasts, and ad hoc financial reporting throughout the year, demonstrating agility and responsiveness to support the Finance team in meeting Company operational objectives
  • The candidates should be able to prepare audit working papers and collaborate effectively with external auditors during the audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and standards
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate seamlessly with employees at all levels, management, and external agencies to optimize performance and efficiency in financial reporting and operations, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
