Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to starting
Experience: Candidates should have food and beverage experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform light lifting and a minimum of 18 years of age
- The candidates should be able to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and a variety of early morning and late evening shifts
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be positive and enthusiastic with excellent customer service and communication skills
- The candidates should have experience with Silverware and EZLink POS systems and knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety
- The candidates should have an Emergency First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of the start date
- The candidates should have a Smart Serve Certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to starting and banquet and event experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service on an ongoing basis
- The candidates should be able to receive and process customer orders accurately and complete customer payment transactions accurately
- The candidates should be able to follow guidelines set by the Region of Peel with regard to food safety practices
- The candidates should be able to adhere to guidelines and regulations set by AGCO with regard to alcohol practices and assist in inventory control and verification
- The candidates should be able to assist in maintaining general tidiness and proper cleaning practices and perform opening and closing duties
- The candidates should be able to follow and adhere to all opening and closing policies and procedures, including printing or reviewing reports, completing DSR packages, and balancing revenue at the end of each shift
- The candidates should be able to assist with event set-ups, service, food and beverage deliveries or set-ups, sales at concessions, food and beverage services at golf courses, and cleanups or teardowns
