Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Service Management and Asset Management, with a focus on ServiceNow

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have certifications such as ITIL Managing Professional, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, and Certified Implementation Specialist
  • The candidates should have a proven track record of success in developing and executing ITSM and Asset Management strategies, driving process improvements, and delivering business value and agile Scrum Master experience and Scrum Master certification
  • The candidates should possess a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, with hands-on experience implementing and leading teams that implement ITSM processes within ServiceNow
  • The candidates should have extensive experience with ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and customization, including the Asset Management module and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience
  • The candidates should demonstrate leadership experience, with the ability to initiate and see transformations from inception, to empower and motivate teams, and drive results in a matrixed organization
  • The candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and execute strategic plans to expand and enhance ITSM and Asset Management services within the ServiceNow platform. This includes defining goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs), as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • The candidates should be able to lead initiatives to expand the scope and capabilities of ITSM services, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog, to meet the evolving needs of the User base
  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement strategies for managing hardware and software assets within the ServiceNow Asset Management module, defining asset lifecycle processes and tracking asset inventory
  • The candidates should be able to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize ITSM and Asset Management processes within the ServiceNow platform, leveraging industry best practices and automation capabilities to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • The candidates should be able to lead Agile delivery teams in implementing various ITSM and Asset Management initiatives to drive iterative development, prioritize work, and deliver incremental value
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the operations of ITSM and Asset Management services, ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to SLAs, and continuous improvement of service performance
  • The candidates should be able to manage budget, including planning and monitoring, reporting, resource management and allocation, financial forecasting, cost analysis, and risk assessment for operational and project budgets
  • The candidates should be able to develop, recommend, and administer the annual budget for the section, ensuring expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations
  • The candidates should be able to provide consultation and assistance to divisions in developing technology investment plans, building business cases for funding approval, preparing budgets, and establishing project framework and resources
  • The candidates should be able to build collaborative relationships within Technology Services, as well as with client and partner divisions, fostering collaboration and service excellence in cross-functional teams, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across the organization
  • The candidates should be able to build collaborative relationships with City stakeholders and senior management, assisting them in recognizing where Technology Services can add value to, transform, or support program operations
  • The candidates should be able to manage external partner relationships and large, complex contracts to deliver transformation programs and value for the City investments, fostering a sense of unity, excellent customer service, and experience
  • The candidates should be able to build high performance and resiliency through trust, transparency, and respect, encouraging creativity and innovation by welcoming diverse perspectives, promoting healthy debate, and questioning the status quo
  • The candidates should be able to respect others’ ideas and create a sense of independence and ownership
