Requirements:

Experience: Candidates should have 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR, 2 years supervisory experience in related industry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- The candidates should successfully complete all basic and recurrence training, including completing and maintaining DG certification
- The candidates should mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support the FedEx Express (FXE) Safety Above All Culture as a frontline supervisor
- The candidates should be able to manage specific day-to-day sort operations and assigned Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station
- The candidates should be able to lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function
- The candidates should be able to oversee all CH functions, including directing work activities, mentoring/coaching/training employees, and ensuring administrative processes are compliant with FXE policies, procedures, and government regulations
