Schedule: Afternoon/Overnight work
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of High school
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a Distribution environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility to cover 24-hour shift coverage, including weekend work
- The candidates should be able to handle invoicing and billing of customers and drivers’ documents, including pallet control entry and tracking
- The candidates should be able to cover shifts that include afternoon/overnight work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess strong data entry skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
- The candidates should have good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external contacts
- The candidates should demonstrate strong organization and planning skills combined with a deliberate attention to detail, to ensure accuracy of the order processing function
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to receive, sort and confirm all incoming orders
- The candidates should be able to monitor, amend and certify the accuracy of traffic load and stops
- The candidates should be able to print and distribute picking documents to the warehouse, such as pick slips and labels
- The candidates should be able to maintain daily data entry and filing related to order processing and produce necessary reports for numeric audit of the order entry system
- The candidates should be able to track and monitor trailer departure times
- The candidates should be able to research information for Proof of Delivery (POD) for the Accounts Receivable group
- The candidates should be able to maintain daily metrics
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned by Managers or Supervisors
- The candidates should be able to work overtime if required to finish off necessary duties
