Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have RAN system architecture design experience from early phases and/or OA phase
  • The candidates should drive the system journey plan for evolving NG-OLLS in Ericsson’s portfolio towards the needs of emerging standards, the Future Network Platform (FNP), evolving portfolio, and target architecture. Ensure the journey plan addresses industry demands for openness while delivering top performance and securing Ericsson’s ability to innovate
  • The candidates should enable fact-based strategic and tactical decisions for NG-OLLS systemization and standardization by facilitating alignment and collaboration across technical domains
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to visualize system anatomy
  • The candidates should have the ability to work in teams and experience working in multi-site, multi-cultural work groups
  • The candidates should possess proven soft leadership skills, facilitating difficult discussions of altering viewpoints
  • The candidates should have the ability to deal with uncertainty, handle stakeholder interaction, and take their own initiatives when motivated to drive work forward
  • The candidates should be a role model in demonstrating integrity, accountability, and professionalism and share expertise and knowledge with junior colleagues by providing mentorship
  • The candidates should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to contribute to the EUIR TS RAN (Radio Access Network) System Management (RSM) team, responsible for RAN product definition, evolution, and Systems-level support
  • The candidate should be able to handle a broad range of responsibilities covering the RAN solution built from products in the Ericsson Radio System. This includes RAN compute central and distributed baseband units, radios, interconnect, and RAN functions to ensure that the Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) architectures are vital to realizing Ericsson’s long-term strategic direction
  • The candidate should be able to contribute to the RAN software architecture anatomy, providing guidance for the execution program(s) when planning the scope and phasing the development and integration
  • The candidate should be able to cooperate with Product Management and across the RAN R&D organization for a common understanding and alignment of software architecture development plans
  • The candidate should be able to drive system coordination for the purpose-built RAN architecture evolution, from early phases and opportunity analysis, including Service Provider (SP) definitions, to pre-study completion
  • The candidate should be able to facilitate efficient architecture realization for long-term feature development and complexity mitigation
  • The candidate should be able to support Kanban masters and study drivers with technical guidance and provide help in addressing system complexity
  • The candidate should be able to support Area Product Owners in understanding dependencies and prioritizing system work
  • The candidate should be able to guide, coach, and mentor colleagues on the different aspects of the domain
