Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
(Additional language skills considered an asset)
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need a minimum of 2 years of community nursing experience, and having an experience with with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should have physical ability to perform the day-to-day duties described in the duties and responsibilities

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be passionate about caring for people, responsive to the needs of others, dedicated to providing quality care, and looking for a rewarding career in healthcare with a leading home health care provider
  • The candidate should be able to reimagine home care for clients and families to provide products and services they need, whenever care is required, delivered by the most qualified and compassionate staff
  • The candidate should be able to work as cornerstone and also work as one of Canada’s Best Managed companies and a committed member of a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals
  • The candidate should have clinical skills and knowledge of wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management
  • The candidate should be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and also have the ability to work independently in managing a caseload
  • The candidate should have an excellent patient assessment and teaching skills and also have demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • The candidate should have basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn proprietary software

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting
  • The candidate should be able to provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting and also ensure that nursing care provided to the patient is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes
  • The candidate should be able to continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of patients
