Salary: $18.50 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Toronto, ON
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Restaurant
Supervision: Food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers, and staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be a team player, show initiative, and exhibit dependability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and hire food service staff
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules
