Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have technical training or certification or Diploma of Collegial Studies
Experience: Candidates should have 5-8 years of related experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisory roles and a good understanding of applicable legislation and regulations for Mines and Mining Plants
  • The candidates should be self-starters who can anticipate needs, work independently with minimal supervision, and are highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • The candidates should have demonstrated a high level of energy, self-motivation, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, communicate, and oversee the work of their assigned mechanical team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and practices
  • The candidates should be able to provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to members of the crew, holding themselves and their team accountable for achieving safety and performance targets
  • The candidates should be able to conduct workplace inspections, plan corrective measures, report daily work plans and achievements, and conduct monthly health and safety meetings with crews
