Salary: $24.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Office building, Various locations, Commercial building

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment : Power tools 
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads, and be physically fit for demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks, and handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate dependability and possess excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, exercise good judgment, and be organized and reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs, as well as perform minor repairs on appliances
• The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision
