Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bedpans, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays and feed patients
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients, transport patients between care facilities, and transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher
- The candidates should be able to answer call signals to determine patients’ needs, collect specimens, and administer first aid in emergency situations
