Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to multi-task, work well under stress, and meet targeted deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to work independently, be flexible, and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations
  • The candidates should be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy
  • The candidates should be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs use hands to finger, handle or feel reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, and bend

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures
  • The candidates should be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to successfully meet or exceed daily inspection standards and productivity thresholds of specific areas
  • The candidates should be able to ensure all incoming units are completed to standard prior to our guest’s arrival, cleaning, and conducting touch-ups
  • The candidates should be able to assist with the administration of departmental Incentive and Recognition Programs by documenting both standard and substandard cleans by Room Attendants in all units inspected
  • The candidates should be able to communicate with Rooms Supervisors or Office Coordinator immediately if there are significant touch-ups in any rooms that are inspected
  • The candidates should be able to report any and all damages or missing inventory in the units and any maintenance deficiencies to the Office Coordinator immediately
  • The candidates should be able to participate in Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department
