Salary: $17.75 to $19.27 hourly (To be negotiated) for 36 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – Student job
Location: Brossard, QC
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (Note: This is NOT a condition of employment), room and board provided, work in employer’s/client’s home, relocation costs covered by employer, willing to relocate, employer’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full-time enrollment
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, reference required, drug test, and vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking

- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and dependability
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and show initiative in taking on new tasks
- The candidates should be organized in their work habits and demonstrate reliability
- The candidates should exhibit patience in their interactions and work, upholding honesty and integrity
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, medications, and assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, feed or assist in feeding, and launder and mend clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping, provide companionship and personal care, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and cook
