Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience operating snow grooming equipment, with an excellent safety record
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be team oriented with a desire to make a positive contribution to the entire resort
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be mechanically inclined, with an understanding of basic operations and maintenance of equipment
- The candidates should have a basic understanding of mountain report maintenance and ski or snowboarding terrain needs
- The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and work well with a diverse range of people
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to safely operate grooming equipment and complete pre- and post-trip inspections of machinery
- The candidates should be able to groom, maintain, and rebuild ski runs and build and maintain lift entries
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with all departments regarding operations
- The candidates should be able to comply with all department and company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to perform daily light maintenance, including refueling, topping up fluids, greasing, and cleaning the interior and exterior of equipment
- The candidates should be able to complete log sheets accurately, recognize and report any unusual noises and conditions to the Maintenance team
- The candidates should be able to advocate for health and safety and work flexible shifts, including afternoons, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned
