Kraft Heinz’s Manufacturing Department plays a pivotal role in the company’s operations, ensuring the production of high-quality food products on a global scale. This department is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process, from sourcing raw ingredients to packaging finished goods. The team focuses on optimizing production lines, enhancing operational safety, and adhering to stringent quality standards to meet diverse consumer needs worldwide. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a DEC in Food Sciences
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of laboratory experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have passed the problem-solving test and very good knowledge of computer applications in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • The candidates should have the ability to master SAP software and ability to learn Ariba software or any other ordering and inventory management software

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to implement new equipment or manage instrument repairs both in the laboratory and in production
  • The candidates should be able to work with contractors and plant specialists to propose alternatives during equipment breakdowns, suggest applicable modifications, and direct to the right resources
  • The candidates should be able to respond to emergencies from laboratory analysts and production operators regarding analysis devices and computer systems
  • The candidates should be able to assess the urgency of replacing certain laboratory instruments, make modifications before major repairs, send the analyses to the laboratory, and direct people to the right resources
  • The candidates should be able to follow up with suppliers for problems with certain instruments, including troubleshooting
  • The candidates should be able to track frequencies to calibrate laboratory, warehouse, and factory thermometers
  • The candidates should be able to establish a schedule to calibrate instruments such as scales, laboratory measuring devices, thermometers, balances, titrators, pH meters, color devices, mocon, and others in the laboratory, warehouse, and factory
  • The candidates should be able to establish standards for the standards and buffers used and methods for calibrating the devices
  • The candidates should be able to write working procedures and carry out user training both in production and in the laboratory and take samples every day on the production line to compare them with the official method
  • The candidates should be able to provide coaching for operators and analysts, including certifications MSA and make the NIR calibration curves, demonstrate very good computer skills, and be required to learn new software
